Xenoblade Chronicles Review

September 8, 2012 Leave a comment

Originally released in Japan back in 2010, Xenoblade Chronicles was met with raving reviews.  As North American JRPG fans first set their eyes upon it, they craved it.  Bringing forth a host of fan groups clawing at Nintendo’s doors for a localization.  After 2 years, their outcries were finally appeased as it was finally released in 2012 for North America.  To be honest, my Wii has collected dust since the day I bought it, so the solid near perfect scores across the board and promises of an actual solid JRPG grabbed my attention quickly. The Last Story Review

August 20, 2012 5 comments

Hironobu Sakaguchi.  It’s a name some may be familiar with.  Famed as the one who created a franchise that some claim saved a company and launched a saga, Final Fantasy.  Hironobu Sakaguchi has since left SquareEnix, and formed his own company called Mistwalker.  From that company came not a swan song title, but hopefully the beginning of something amazing.  Originally release in Japan in 2011, it was published in North America by XSEED Games.  The Last Story, begins now. The Last Story Delayed

August 14, 2012 Leave a comment

People hitting local stores and checking online orders may notice today that The Last Story is nowhere to be found. Unfortunately due to some unforseen issues in shipping, TLS has seen a delay. Early reports say it’s only a day delay, but hope is that it will get moving ASAP. We’ve waited many years, what’s another day? “Painful! That’s what it is!”

@XSEEDGames:
Sorry! Sometimes there are small delays between the shipping and the stores. They’re definitely on their way, though!

February 22, 2012 1 comment

XSEED’s twitter account rained happiness to many awaiting fans when they send out a message saying they will be working to localize this amazing tale to the US shores.  I can’t tell you how psyched I am hearing this.

@xseedgames – “XSEED Games is proud and very, very happy to present to you, our awesome fans… The Last Story! Raise that bacon high!”

This is why I support these guys.  Thanks so much to the people at XSEED for bringing this to our shores!  I’ll be pre-ordering this puppy the moment I see it!

Man, what a sweet day, Vita in my hands for the first time, and a tweet that makes me cry for joy!

PS3 Vs. Xbox360 Vs. Wii

While setting up the review page, I realized I had never Wii or PS3.  I’m not really into reviewing them as a whole, but rather how it compares to it’s competition.  You can check plenty of videos for graphics, gameplay, etc.  However as for which one stands out the most for you is what is important.  I wanted to do a Pro/Cons list for each Console to give you an idea of which one is better if you’re looking to get into the game today.

While it’s hard to say which console is better for any particular person, and these Pros and Cons may not agree with your opinion, they are just here to help.  I’m in no way your decision maker.  Take these Pros and Cons as an unbias person’s perspective that owns and loves each console for what they are.
